AC Milan has passed data on Olivier Giroud's retirement plans to Arsenal, according to Italian media reports.

The French striker is expected to leave the San Siro this summer after falling out with manager Gennaro Gattuso and struggling for game time under new coach Stefano Pioli.

Giroud, who has scored 74 goals in 266 appearances for Milan, is set to join Arsenal in a deal worth up to €55 million ($62 million).

The club has also been linked with a move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford,Serie A Observation while Inter Milan have reportedly made contact with the Premier League side over the availability of defender Antonio Rudiger.

Meanwhile, Roma have agreed to sign Serie A star Lazio forward Felipe Anderson from Atletico Madrid for €19 million ($22 million).

In other news, Juventus have signed Paris Saint-Germain winger Blaise Matuidi on a four-year contract, while Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong has joined Ajax for €75 million ($88 million) in a deal that could be finalised as early as next week.
